Is anyone aware of a credible and scholastic attempt to reconcile the Creation Account of Genesis Chapter  One and the Account of Adam which begins in Genesis Chapter Two?

Also, is anyone aware of a detailed enumeration of the differences between the two accounts?

Admittedly, this pair of questions may be considered pedagogical and rhetorical; no answer is expected.

A competent scholar who understands the matter knows that no reconciliation is possible, because each of the accounts is concerned with a separate event.

Thus, in an A:B comparison, no entry in the A column would have a corresponding entry in the B column, nor would any entry in the B column have a corresponding entry in the A column.

Still, it might be interesting to see a reconciliation attempt by a serious student of the Scripture who sincerely believes that reconciliation is possible.
