The Bible really makes a difference in my life. I can tell when I've been reading and when I haven't (but mainly I read it every day). The Bible is applicable to every area of life, without exception.
I generally hold to the orthodox reformed doctrines as expressed in confessions such as Westminster (1646) and London Baptist (1689), though, of course, these sub-standards are good only to the extent that they follow the standard of the Scriptures.
I believe that Christians should be proactive in studying the Bible for themselves and thereby encouraging their fellow believers at their local church.
